Home Groups

We believe that spiritual growth and Christian community happen best in small groups referred to as Home Groups. We therefore encourage all who see Immanuel Christian Centre as their spiritual home to be actively involved or connected to one of these groups.

What is a Home Group?

A Home Group comprises a body of no more than 12 people that meet together each Wednesday evening in the home of a group leader.

Their Purpose is to

  • Connect people relationally, building community and making disciples.
  • Challenge its members to use their spiritual gifts to build community where there is a sense of
        - Knowing and being known
        - Loving and being loved
        - Serving and being served
        - Celebrating and being celebrated
  • Minister to the needs of members – spiritually, emotionally and physically, allowing people to feel wanted, important and valuable
  • Ensure personal spiritual development
